Help shape our communications - join our Customer Communications Group
This group will play an important role in helping us make sure our letters, emails, leaflets and digital content are clear, accessible and genuinely useful for all customers. Your insight and lived experience will help shape how we communicate now and in the future.
What will you be doing?
As part of the group, you’ll help us improve customer communications by:
- Reviewing drafts of letters, emails and other materials
- Sharing feedback on clarity, tone and usability
- Helping us present important information in ways that work best for customers
Your feedback will directly influence how we explain services, changes and important updates across Abri.
How will you be involved?
Over the coming months, there’ll be opportunities to support several key projects, including:
- Testing the user experience of our current website to help shape the design of our new one
- Reviewing our annual focus on customer service and tenant satisfaction for the Customer Annual Report
- Helping reimagine the legacy of Octavia Hill, ensuring our principles of people-first, community and fairness shine through
These pieces of work will have a real impact on the information and updates customers receive every day.

There’s no minimum commitment and plenty of ways to get involved:
- In-person sessions
- Virtual workshops
- Short online surveys
- Quick reading-and-feedback tasks
- Small group discussions with the Communications team
You can join in as often as you like and choose the activities and topics that interest you most. It’s completely flexible.
