We’re taking a more local approach

We know just how important it is to have a secure, well-maintained home, backed by effective housing management and a robust repairs service.

With this in mind, we’re launching our new regional housing model on Tuesday 1 April.

The model has you and the service we’re about to provide you at its core. It forms part of our commitment to not only local leadership and insight, but also to local ownership and accountability.

What does this mean for you?

The role of our Housing Partners.

There will be more of us, out and about, sorting what matters to you.

With smaller patch sizes to support, our Housing Partners will be able to gain better knowledge of our customers and the communities you live in. They’ll get to know what matters most to you, what issues you might be experiencing, and what you expect from us.

They’ll be responsible for managing housing and tenancy matters and will be your main point of contact for everything from estate inspections, and tenancy queries, to low level community nuisance like abandoned vehicles, bin related issues, fly tipping and parking. Please continue to report repairs and other matters through our Customer Support Team but they will be able to support you if you need help accessing our other services or are struggling to look after your home.

With these changes, you may find that you have a new Housing Partner for your area. You can find out who your Housing Partner is by logging on to the MyAbri portal.

Community Safety

Our Community Safety team will now be operating in all our regions. They’ll be able to support you with things like Anti-Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse. To access support, please contact our Customer Contact Centre who will be able to review your case and refer you to the team.

What’s next?

If the Housing Partner for your area has changed, you'll see them in your neighbourhood from Tuesday 1 April – be sure to say hello and ask them any questions you might have.
