Be a Part of the Exhibition: Doors of Mansbridge

We believe home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling, where everyone has the right to equal opportunities, no matter their background. Most importantly, we want people to feel proud of where they live. That’s why, in partnership with the University of Southampton, we’ve been working on a project to honour the past and present of Mansbridge. The Mansbridge Heritage Project is all about celebrating the place we call home. By discovering more about the history of Mansbridge, we can deepen our connection to the area and to each other. It’s a chance to share stories, learn something new, and come together as a community. Mansbridge has a rich and fascinating past, let’s explore it, together.

As part of the celebrations, we’re creating a special poster that captures the heart of our community—through the people who live here and their front doors. Your front door isn’t just a door; it’s a gateway to your story, your home, and your neighbourhood.

We want to showcase you alongside your door to highlight the incredible diversity and character of the people who make Mansbridge special.

Here’s how to get involved:

• Take two clear portrait photos, one of yourself and your household members standing by your front door, and another photo of your door with no people in it (Include any porch, canopy, or side glazing)
• Send us your photos by Friday 18 July (contact details below)
• For every submission received, you’ll get a £10 supermarket voucher as a thank-you!
