FAQs - Octavia joins the Abri Group
Will this affect my tenancy or lease agreement?
This will not affect any tenancy or other agreement that you may have with Abri. Your home remains secure providing you maintain your own obligations under that agreement.
Will this affect my service charges?
If you pay rent or service charge, the way this is calculated will not change and you'll continue to make payments just as you do today. Our obligations to you as a landlord will also be unchanged.
What will this mean for my community?
This kind of growth means our organisation will have more to invest in our existing homes and neighbourhoods, develop more new homes in your community and make improvements to the services you receive under our regional approach.
Will I still receive the same local, quality services?
Yes, and we’ll continue to invest to improve it. By bringing the organisations together we will commit to reinvesting efficiency savings on service improvements and things that will benefit you where you live.
Did customers have a say in the decision to join Abri?
Yes, earlier this year Octavia ran a formal consultation with its customers about the proposed partnership. This was a legal requirement, but just as importantly, an opportunity for us to highlight the many benefits the partnership will bring, along with setting out Abri’s commitments to improving services and investing in the homes and communities of Octavia residents. During September 2024, Abri customers were also invited to have a say in the plans to bring Octavia in as part of the group.
How do I find out more?
