Protecting yourself from scam calls

As your landlord, there’s several reasons why you might receive a call from us, but sometimes it may not actually be us on the other end.

Scam calls are made by criminals trying to deceive you into giving them money, or your personal and financial information. They can be really convincing and sometimes it’s hard to tell them apart from the real deal. So, to keep you, your money and information safe, it’s important to know what to look out for when you get a call from someone claiming to be us: 

  • We’ll always identify ourselves by name and inform you we’re calling from Abri
  • We’ll ask for two pieces of information to confirm we're speaking with the right person. This could be something like your date of birth, post code, or information about other customers living in the property or other personal information
