We want to hear from you! We’re reviewing our Anti-Social Behaviour Policy and Procedure which sets out what we can deal with and how we will respond in line with delivering our services in a more regional way focusing on local priorities.

We take all reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) seriously and we’re committed to doing all we can, within our powers, to prevent, investigate, and manage ASB and harassment. ASB can have a devastating impact on individuals and whole communities, so we have a specialist Community Safety Team to work in partnership with key agencies like the police to tackle it.

We want to get your views on what’s important to you, so we can deliver the right service across all areas where Abri owns and manages homes. That’s why we’re reviewing our Anti-Social Behaviour Policy and Procedure which sets out what we can deal with and how we will respond in line with delivering our services in a more regional way focusing on local priorities.

Click here to read our customer guide which explains what ASB is, how to report it and how we can help before you complete the questionnaire. Remember, there are other types of behaviour like pet nuisance, noise transference from normal living activities and low-level neighbour disputes which is managed by our Housing Partnership team. This does not fall within our ASB Policy and Procedure or this consultation.

You will be sent a survey directly from our research platform, Alchemer. But it’ll look like a survey from us. If you’d like to complete the survey, please do so by midnight on 2 February 2025.

You can read more about how we manage ASB on our website, and in our policy, here. If you have any questions about the survey or need help filling it in, please get in touch with us. You can find out how on My Abri.

It’s sometimes hard to know what is classed as anti-social behaviour, what’s simply a nuisance, and what is a more serious crime. It’s therefore tricky to know where you should be reporting it to get help.

If you’re affected by behaviour in your community, click here to find out:

  • Whether it’s ASB
  • What you can do to help resolve the issue
  • Who you need to speak to
  • How to report it to us if it is ASB

If a life is in danger or a crime is in progress, ring 999 immediately. To report non-emergency criminal matters call 101.

If you’d prefer to report incidents, such as drug dealing, anonymously, you can also call Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or by visiting www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
